We have an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Compliance Manager / Homologation Engineer to ensure this manufacturing company meet all regulatory requirements and adhere to industry standards.Company Car, + Car Scheme (x3), Medical insurance, Pension, Life Assurance + additional Bens.Location can be based in either Grays, Essex or Epsom, SurreyVehicle Compliance Manager / Homologation Engineer’s Core DutiesMaintain good communications between departments, factories, stakeholders and vendorsManage product testing for security and safetyIdentify and seek approval for original or locally sourced accessoriesEnsure that all products leaving the warehouse meet UK and National regulations and requirementsOversee insurance ratings for all UK products and ensure they are competitive with the marketManage the recycling of products through an external vendor to meet environmental and legal requirementsProvide annual reports to the Environment Agency of our work and in meeting standardsWork with UK compliance on forthcoming legislative changes to ensure they are favourableVehicle Compliance Manager / Homologation Engineer’s Skills RequiredExcellent communications and interpersonal skills - good customer service approachExperience working with and presenting to Government department, overseas suppliers, retailers, industry bodies and product expertsStrong knowledge of legislation regarding to conformity of production proceduresExperience with insurance group ratingsUnderstanding of legislation for end of life vehiclesHighly numerateGood project managementAre you enthusiastic about the Vehicle Compliance Manager / Homologation Engineer’s job?
