Van Driver / Drivers Mate

Job role: Van Driver (multi-drop) / Drivers Mate 

Location: Swindon

Pay rate: £11.50 per hour as a Drivers Mate and £12.50 per hour as a Van Driver 

Contract: Temp 

Hours: Monday to Friday – 0600 start until finish

We are currently recruiting for Multi-drop Van Drivers / Drivers Mates for a busy distribution centre based in Swindon. Servicing the whole of the UK from the Swindon depot, you will be responsible for carrying out multiple deliveries to customers. Our client manufactures and distributes high end home furnishings and prides itself on delivering a first class service. 

As a Van Driver or a Drivers Mate you will be expected to deliver a 'white glove' service. This will include the safe delivery of large items and the occasional build of furniture based on customers requirements. You must be presentable and must be physically fit due to the nature of the products you will be expected to lift. 

Ideal candidates will:

• Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points including no traffic offences or bans.
• Have experience within multi-drop delivery.
• Be well presented at all times.
• Excellent levels of customer service.
• Comfortable with working alone.
• Be comfortable with occasional heavy lifting.
