Position: Van Delivery Driver

Location: St Austell

Driver Hire Cornwall are currently looking to take on an experience van delivery driver for one of our busy clients based in St Austell, delivery medical and hospital equipment and supplies all over Devon and Cornwall. This will be ongoing, full time work, with a minimum of 48 hours per week. If this sounds like the role for you, apply today.

About the job:

• Shifts will be Monday - Saturday each week, 6 days and 48 hours per week. Overtime rate will be payed after 48 hours worked.
• Starting at 07:00 in the morning each day. *Please note - some shifts can be quite long if busy, in excess of 10hrs*
• Pay is from �14.57 - �18.21 per hour with lots of overtime opportunities available. (Advanced payroll method inclusive of holiday pay)
• PAYE - Internal payroll meaning we don't use umbrella firms!
• Weekly pay.
• This is a TEMPORARY ONGOING position - permanent opportunities may become available for the right candidates.

Job requirements:

• A full and valid Category B licence.
• The ability to lift and carry as well as move freely in and out of the vehicle, in all weather conditions is necessary due to the physical nature of this role.
• Previous van delivery experience would be advantageous.
• Your own transport is essential to get to and from work.
• Working mobile phone.

Please be aware that the advertised pay for this job role is an advanced payroll method, meaning the rate is inclusive of your holiday pay at 12.07%. We are more than happy to accommodate a standard payroll method if you prefer to accrue and take holiday separately.
