Job Type: Full-timeRoleAs a Senior Manager in Valuations, you will play a pivotal role in our clients Finance and Valuations team. You will be responsible for overseeing the valuation of assets, assessing financial models, and providing critical insights that drive informed financial decision-making. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in valuations, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and the ability to lead a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Valuation Expertise: Perform valuations of various assets, including but not limited to businesses, intellectual property, real estate, and financial instruments, using various valuation methods and techniques.Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support valuation analyses and assist in forecasting future financial performance.Team Leadership: Lead a team of valuations professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to ensure the team's effectiveness and professional growth.Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on clients and their assets to ensure accurate valuations and assess potential risks.Reporting: Prepare comprehensive and well-documented valuation reports for internal and external stakeholders, adhering to industry standards and regulations.Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific valuation needs, provide expert guidance, and maintain strong client relationships.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards in all valuation activities.Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to maintain the accuracy and consistency of valuation methodologies and results.Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, market trends, and emerging valuation techniques to continually improve the valuation process.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as legal, accounting, and sales to provide valuations support for various business activities.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree and relevant professional certifications (CFA, ASA, CVA, or similar) are highly desirable.A minimum of 10years of experience in valuations, with at least 12years in a leadership or managerial role.Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation methods.In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with clients, team members, and senior management.Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Proficiency in valuation software and tools.
