Valuations Director

Job DescriptionA global accountancy and business advisory firm is looking for a Valuations Director to lead the office in Birmingham and grow the team!You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and partners to help businesses effectively.As the Valuations Director, you will:Develop and build long-lasting relationships with organisations Manage your own tasks, as well as collaborate with others and communicate regularly with senior managers, directors, and partners to help businesses effectively.Manage a portfolio and will be responsible for the timely completion and quality delivery of engagements.Support the Partner with project work, build excellent relationships, initiate and deliver marketing and business development projects and work with the senior members of the Regional Valuation Team in developing the business.Deliver comprehensive technical valuation analyses for a variety of purposes including for accounting, tax, commercial and forensic engagements. You’ll effectively manage your team during engagements and ensure they are developed, providing coaching.You’ll be someone who has:A professional qualification; ACA, CFA, or equivalent.Significant valuation experience at a senior level gained within professional servicesA proficiency in a number of valuation techniques including discounted cash flow, multiples analysis, options and other derivatives pricing, intangible asset valuation techniques.Adept interpreting financial statements in the context of valuations.Strong business writing, analytical and excel modelling skills.A proven track record in leadership, of managing and developing teams.Effective communication skills, who builds trust and respect amongst senior leadership teamCommercial acumen with an understanding of the internal and external drivers of value for a given asset.What you'll get working for the company:Competitive salary.Ability to become a partner.Access to a personal pension scheme, with matched employer contributions.Life assurance cover and private medical.Programmes, resources, and frameworks that provide clarity and structure around career development.Other benefits that are individual chosen.Sounds like you?
