Validation Engineer

An industry-leading company is seeking a Design Validation Engineer to support Start of Production Projects. The role is crucial for the Design Validation (DV) of Electric Drive Units and batteries. The successful candidate will excel in planning and executing test work, analysing data, and providing insightful recommendations.

Day to Day of the Role:

• Lead testing campaigns from requirements definition to data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with experts to define and plan testing requirements.
• Oversee testing facility setup to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Provide on-site support to ensure successful testing campaign delivery.
• Analyse data to support engineering decisions.
• Communicate daily updates to stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to test facilities and stakeholders.
• Engage in internal presentations, training, and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A 2:1 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electronics, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in powertrain development, testing, and design validation.
• Knowledge of Electric Drive Units and batteries.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to provide clear technical recommendations.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Agile/Scrum process knowledge is advantageous.
