Job Description
Job title: UX/UI Designer (VR/AR Background)
Location: London
Salary: up to £45,000
Start date: May 2024
We are looking for a creative and experienced UX/UI Designer with a passion for immersive technologies to help drive the design and development of our VR/AR projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX/UI design principles, coupled with hands-on experience in Unity and Unreal Engine to create experiences in virtual and augmented reality environments.
Responsibilities:
Develop wireframes, mockups and prototypes to communicate design ideas and business values
Create immersive and interactive experience with Unity or Unreal Engine
Design and implement spatial interactions, user interfaces, and visual elements tailored for VR/AR platforms.
Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in UX/UI and VR/AR design and development.
Strong portfolio/ArtStation
Requirements:
Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing VR/AR specific projects
Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles and methodologies
Experience designing for immersive environments and spatial interactions
Proficiency in Unity3D and/or Unreal Engine for VR/AR development
Desirable:
Keen eye for design
Exposure to Nuke and After Effects
Knowledge of motion graphics
