As they continue to grow, they’re seeking a talented Mid-Senior UX Designer to join their team and help shape the future of their user interfaces.
Position Overview:
As a UX Designer, you'll play a crucial role in driving the design and development of user-centric digital experiences. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to create intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional interfaces. Leveraging your expertise in user research, interaction design, and information architecture, you'll contribute to the enhancement of our products and ensure they meet the needs and expectations of our diverse user base.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end UX design processes, from concept ideation to final implementation.
Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behaviour and preferences.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualise and communicate design concepts effectively.
Develop high-fidelity mock-ups and design specifications for responsive web and mobile applications.
Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
Advocate for user-centred design principles and best practices within the organisation.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in UX design processes.
About You:
5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a fast-paced technology-driven environment.
Must have GDS experience, ideally experience working within the UK government.
Must have experience designing prototypes, clickable-prototypes (hi-fi/lo-fi).
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
Proven experience with Graphic Design.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects and your design process.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate and defend design decisions.
Experience working in Agile development environments is a plus.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a bonus.
