We require to appoint a Utility Consultant to be based in our Edinburgh office to support our commercial management team based in Scotland.JOB DESCRIPTIONHours: 37.5 hrs/week.Salary: Dependent on experienceWe require to appoint a Utility Consultant to support our Commercial Property Management team based in Scotland with the role being in the Edinburgh office.The key duties will be focused on daily communication with our own property management team and to provide them with support for all Utility related issues.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging all utility contracts for the properties we manage.Managing a database to store all utility account details, supply details, contract information, online portals information etc.Sourcing and agreeing new competitive utility contracts.Processing change of Tenancy Applications.Dealing with all general enquiries, providing support to our property managers and resolving any disputes.Undertaking sub-meter recharge calculations for billing purposes.Skills/Experience – EssentialUtility contract experienceExcellent telephone manner and communication skillsAbility to work on own initiativeExcellent IT skills with Microsoft Office programs particularly ExcelExperience of working in a property related environmentExperience of a property management databaseShepherd Commercial provides a wide range of Commercial Property Services including: asset management; acquisitions and disposals; project consultancy; lease advisory; property construction and renewables. We also provide expert advice for taxation purposes, property transactions and purchase orders for single properties, large developments and portfolios.
