Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to provide specialized face-to-face support for a Year 7 pupil with identified Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The focus of the role is to deliver alternative provision in English, Maths, and Science, catering to the specific requirements of the pupil.

Qualifications:

- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant tutoring qualifications.

- Experience working with pupils with SEN, specifically those with ASD and SEMH needs.

- Strong understanding of alternative provision methodologies.

Skills and Abilities:

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs.

- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward supporting students with emotional challenges.

Working Hours:

- 15 hours per week, distributed among English, Maths, and Science sessions.

- Monday - Friday 3hr per day (09:00 to 16:00)
