What You Will Achieve with Us:
Collaborate Using Biological Expertise:
Work with development teams and customer development partners to define specifications for new products, evaluate concepts, and test prototypes.
Experiment Planning and Execution:
Design new experiments and test procedures, execute them, and analyze the results to determine product effectiveness.
Material Sourcing and Preparation:
Source and prepare materials to test new technologies and automated systems.
Assay Execution:
Perform
biological/biochemical
assays.
Data Preparation:
Prepare data and reports.
Design Review Participation:
Participate in product design reviews with engineering teams.
Fault Diagnosis:
Diagnose faults and provide test feedback to engineers.
Customer Support:
Support trials at customer sites, including training, executing witnessed acceptance testing, and providing application support for early iterations of new products.
We Are Looking For:
Educational Background:
PhD or equivalent in a relevant field of study or extensive industrial experience in bioprocess development.
Laboratory Expertise:
Experience with aseptic laboratory techniques and mammalian culture, including process development in industrial or academic bioprocessing laboratories.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the bioprocessing industry with high-level scientific technique and laboratory competence.
Experimental Skills:
Experience in planning, executing experiments, and delivering data and conclusions for group review.
Cell Culture Knowledge:
Proficiency in mammalian cell culture.
Bioreactor Operation:
Understanding of bioreactor operation.
Gene and Cell Therapy:
Familiarity with principles of gene and cell therapy.
Flow Cytometry:
Experience with flow cytometry, including sample preparation, operation, and data analysis.
Project Management:
Ability to plan and manage own project work and meet deadlines.
Technical Communication:
Effective preparation and delivery of technical reports, manuals, and presentations.
