Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
Salary: From £96 per day

About the School: Our client is a fantastic Primary School located in Liverpool, providing specialised education for children in Key Stage 2. The school is committed to catering to the unique needs of students with varying levels of need. Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to students within the classroom setting. Working closely with the teaching staff, you will contribute to the student's overall well-being and academic progress. Your duties may include:

Assisting in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students.
Supporting students in their day-to-day activities, including academic tasks, personal care, and social interaction.
Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborating with the teaching team to create engaging and interactive lessons tailored to individual student needs.
Monitoring and recording student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians as required.
Assisting with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials and resources.
Requirements:

Previous experience in support work, care, or a professional service (Police, Military, Door person) setting is highly desirable.
A genuine passion for working with children and an understanding of their unique needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to supporting student's development.
Flexibility and adaptability to work within a dynamic and ever-changing educational environment.
A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
