Role: Unqualified Teaching Assistant

Salary: £75 - £85 per day

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (on a part-time basis)

Location: Colchester



About the role

Vision for Education collaborates with Special Needs schools and alternative provisions throughout Colchester. Our commitment to making a positive impact in education is unwavering. In collaboration with schools in our local communities, we are delighted to introduce our National Teaching Assistant Programme, tailored to assist individuals aspiring to embark on a Teaching Assistant career. The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital in the day-to-day running of schools. The best Teaching Assistants have excellent communication skills and are able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff, quickly and effectively.


About the school

Here at Vision we work alongside mainstream and SEN schools covering the Essex and Suffolk area. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working with a variety of secondary schools who are focused on supporting students to reach their full potential.


Requirements

To be considered for the role of Unqualified Teaching Assistant you will:



  • Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service
  • Be committed to completing the required training and participating in ongoing CPD
  • Understand the crucial importance of keeping children and young people safe
  • Be flexible, proactive and a team player
  • Be passionate about improving the outcomes for children and young people
  • Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people


Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:



  • Be committed to completing the required training and participating in ongoing CPD
