The
Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI)
is an international volunteers-led think tank supporting and advocating the application of blockchain technology in the global fight against climate change.
With a large number of virtual
VOLUNTEERS
spread across the world, the Wellbeing Unit under the Capacity Building Division takes a lead in providing wellness and well-being support. This relates to physiological and mental health, as well as happiness and satisfaction with volunteering.
We are looking for a
Well-being Manager
who can support us in this. You will work closely with the Senior Well-being Officer to execute the Well-being strategy across the organisation. Additionally, you may need to give input on some of the projects in the internal L&D branch. You will have excellent collaboration, coordination, and communication skills, and you will be a great relationship builder and team player. You will also be tech-savvy and embrace a remote working culture.
Responsibilities:
Identify well-being needs and recommend initiatives aligning with the BCI well-being framework
Conduct research on resources, programs, groups, and individuals to support the implementation of well-being initiatives
Develop and implement effective processes and workflows to facilitate the success of well-being initiatives
Gather feedback and continuously enhance initiatives, framework, processes, and workflows as needed
Manage the execution of well-being initiatives across the organization, taking initiative where required
Diagnose and implement changes where necessary, tracking the effectiveness of any efforts taken in the Well-being branch
Requirements
Skills & Abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Proficient in English writing with meticulous attention to detail
General & Specialist Knowledge
In-depth understanding of wellness and well-being approaches within organizational contexts
Familiarity with key BCI subjects such as climate change, climate finance, and blockchain technology is advantageous
Demonstrated interest and passion for wellness and well-being within organisational settings
Knowledgeable about current trends in wellness and well-being practices within organisations
Education & Training
Strong educational background at the degree level
Relevant Experience
Over 4 years of experience in the field of wellness and well-being
Proven expertise in implementing successful well-being initiatives within organizations
Experience in both independent work and collaborative team environments

Selection Process
As a voluntary organization, we are pleased to open the door for candidates who may not have the prior experience they need to start, progress, or switch their careers. To recruit the most suitable, talented, or potential new members out of the volume of applications received, it is the BCI's policy to also consider inexperienced candidates to fill our voluntary unpaid roles as long as they can demonstrate the skills required in the written assessment. In the selection process, most candidates will be invited to complete the following assessment.
Section A: Verbal and Numerical Reasoning (20 multiple-choice questions)
Section B: Situation Judgement Test (20 multiple-choice questions)
Section C: In-Tray Exercise (An open-ended assessment relevant to the duties of the role)
Candidates who pass all three sections will be invited to attend a phone screening, first interview, and final interview online.
