Underwriting Support Assistant
Salary £26,500 + Bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for self-motivated Underwriting Assistant to join a successful, friendly and lively team for a recognised leading global insurance company. This is a perfect opportunity to develop a career within insurance.
Duties of Underwriting Support Assistant:
* Providing and maintaining a good standard of technical underwriting support
* Accurate and timely input of data into relevant underwriting systems.
* Liaising with brokers as required
* Helping to develop and maintain strong working relationships within the team and wider business
* Requesting and reviewing survey reports and issuing risk requirements to brokers
* Managing diary items and chasing responses
* Following up outstanding renewal information with brokers via phone and email.
* Deal with internal and external enquiries by email and telephone
* Assisting the team and wider business with ad hoc projects
Essential:
* Organise, prioritise & undertake work in an efficient & logical manner
* Must have strong administration background and ability to organise workload
* Must have good IT literacy, familiar with Outlook, Word and Excel
* Sound problem solving abilities with a good and appropriate use of initiative
* Maintain an enthusiastic & high energy approach to work
* Have an interested in a career within Insurance
