UK Tax Accountant

A prominent retail business listed on the NYSE is searching for a Corporate Tax Accountant to join an in-house tax team located in Watford.
As a Corporate Tax Accountant, you will report to the Head of Tax. This position was created as the previous appointment was promoted. Some of your responsibilities include:
All aspects of corporate tax compliance and compliance with Senior Accounting Officer (SAO).
UK tax reporting and forecasting (current and deferred tax provisioning for UK GAAP statutory accounts purposes).
Assist with tax planning work for international entities.
Ad hoc tax technical advice to key stakeholders across the business.
To be considered for this position, you will ideally be CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified with a good foundation of UK corporate tax compliance and tax accounting experience. Both practice and in-house candidates will be considered.
In return, you will receive a salary package of £60,000-£65,000 depending on experience plus a 15% discretionary bonus, car allowance and a host of benefits. The team follow a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and free car parking is offered.
Part-time candidates will be considered on a 4-day basis.
