UK Head of HSE

Alexander Steele is working exclusively with a leading food manufacturing business in London. Our client is looking for an experienced Head of HSE to manage 3 manufacturing sites across the UK. The role holder will play a fundamental part in making sure each site HSE strategy aligns on a group level. The Head of HSE will lead a team of professionals and collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.Responsibilities:Develop and implement HSE strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.Establish comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance local and national guidelines.Create, develop, and maintain the Site SHE Management Systems to ISO standards.Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures to reduce risks to personnel and the environment.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and external partners to promote HSE initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Provide professional leadership, support, and development to team members on a group level.Experience:7+ years’ experience within HSE management positions in food, drinks and fmcg manufacturing environments.NEBOSH diploma or equivalent, ISO14001 AuditorExcellent knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.A strong track record of leading and motivating teams in previous positions.Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills.What’s on Offer:Paying up to £82,50012.5% bonus25 days holidays + bank holidaysOnsite Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pmFor more information regarding this opportunity contact Lomond MacPherson for a professional and confidential chat.Send me alerts about jobs like this.Please enter your email address to continue setting up an email alert for similar jobs to this one.
