Leading the development of key components of financial plans, manages and monitors financial initiatives and controls. Evaluates and recommends strategies for financial and budget plans, and advises senior management on financial matters. Key Responsibilities:As a Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for:Responsible for all day-to-day finance processes, includingControllership
(Order-to-cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, statutory reporting, monthly closing, pension accounting, etc.) FP&A
(Planning, budgeting, forecasting, internal reporting, cash flow, etc.) Manufacturing Finance
(Site Ops KPIs, Cost accounting, GL Close Process, Excess & Obsolete) Treasury
(banking relationships and bank balances) Insurance
(local managed policies, co-ordination on global policies) Tax
(tax compliance, tax planning, transfer pricing, local filings, tax accounting & reporting, financial risk management, corporate income tax, etc.) Serve as Senior Accounting Officer
(Responsible for; Filings, HRMC contacts, VAT returns, etc) Responsible for managing the transition of Kidde Products finance processes from Carrier to a standalone company, establishing a newly formed finance teamOver Sea’s travel is required for this role once per quarterLead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance cultureMaximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systemsGuide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and proceduresProtect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controlsMonitor and confirm financial condition by managing audits and providing information to external auditorsSupport financial systems implementationOversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure accuracy and timeliness in reportingLead timely monthly management reporting for UK and India operations, including variance analysis and rolling financial forecastLead annual budgeting process for UK and India operations by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plansProvide insights and recommendations to UK and India General Manager for informed decision-makingManage and coordinate financial activities for our Indian operations, ensuring compliance with local regulationsPrepare and present comprehensive financial reports to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendationEnsure compliance with UK and Indian financial regulations and proactively manage financial risks Candidate requirements ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualificationFamiliarity and experience with UK and India reporting requirementsKnowledge of US GAAP is desirableAnalytical, numerical and problem solving skillsAn ability to work and deliver within tight timelinesProven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within an international context.RequirementsAs a minimum you must have:ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualificationFamiliarity and experience with UK and India reporting requirementsKnowledge of US GAAP is requiredAnalytical, numerical and problem solving skillsAn ability to work and deliver within tight timelinesProven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within an international contextAlthough not necessary, it would be nice if you have: Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.
University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
