We are looking for talent that connects with this mission and want to create positive impact by joining a diverse and dynamic team About the roleThe Fleet Sales Executive is responsible for fleet customer prospecting, sales and relationship account development,to drive profitable sales and increase market share. This role requires close collaboration with fleet customers from the corporate, rental, leasing and other sectors, dealerships, and other relevant partners to ensure smooth operation of sales and supply, always satisfying customer needs. The role also oversees inventory management, pricing and sales support activities related to fleet sales.Main Tasks and responsibilities:Execute strategic plans for fleet sales, including achieving sales targets, market positioning and pricing recommendations to achieve sales targets, market share growth and profitability.Collaborate with fleet sales customers, retailers, and partners to establish and maintain sales and relationships, ensuring the availability and delivery of vehicles to meet customer needs and meeting customer expectations.Gather market information that is in the public domain and analyze competitor programmes offered by competitors, identify market trends, customer behaviour, and make recommendations for improvements, and make recommendations for future marketing strategies and promotional activities.Oversee inventory management of fleet vehicles, including order management, delivery, and retrieval, ensuring inventory levels and vehicle types align with market demands.Input to appropriate pricing strategies for fleet sales based on market competition, costs, and profit objectives to ensure profitability and market competitiveness.Develop and implement sales support activities, such as promotional plans, marketing materials, and training, to support dealerships and partners in promotion and sales.Manage negotiation and signing of fleet sales contracts, ensuring contract terms comply with legal regulations and company policies in collaboration with fleet companies and partners.Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to meet the needs of fleet sales programmes and support retailer sales activities where required.Collect and analyze market data, monitor the performance and market feedback of competitor programmes (that are in the public domain), prepare reports and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of fleet sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.Track and resolve customer and partner issues and complaints, collaborate with relevant teams to address problems, ensuring customer satisfaction and brand reputation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred but relevant industry experience will be considered.Proven experience in fleet sales programme management within the automotive industry or related fields, with knowledge of the rental, leasing and/or corporate sales industry sectors, regulations, and best practices.Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, and possess decision-making and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to establish productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and strong negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, with the ability to conduct data analysis and report writing.Strong team collaboration and leadership potential, with the capacity to work as part of the wider team to achieve common goals and effectively coordinate and communicate in cross-functional collaborations.Willingness to travel as required to conduct business meetings and negotiations with fleet companies and partners.We are looking to fill a number of roles and are seeking strong all-rounders but value a specialism in one or more of the following sectors (please indicate your preferences in your covering letter):Rental & LeasingLocal Authority (Municipal) and Governmental SalesLocal Business via the retailer networkWe Offer:Performance and experience-based competitive remuneration (quarterly paid bonus);25 holidays + UK Public holidays;Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme;Department & company wide teambuilding events;An exciting opportunity to be part of European transition to Zero Emissions transportation and de-carbonization of the economy.About BYD UKBYD UK is the UK distributor of BYD Company Ltd which is a China-based company and a global leading-edge provider of green energy technologies.
