We expect you to quickly listen to the Customer, understand their challenges and effectively build a proposition that we can deliver that exceeds the customers’ expectations.So, who are we looking for?An experienced Sales & Account Manager focusing on the UK Energy Market is needed to join the Sales team to further expand our established presence into this market. One such challenge is the new communication technologies which needs to support legacy systems; we need someone who is willing to understand these challenges and build on our unparalleled reputation to deliver. Ideally, the candidate needs to be located in the Midlands, UK.Duties & Responsibilities: To build on present business and relationships within the UK Energy market and achieve sales and revenue targets. We encourage flexible working but need our sales team to engage with customers who now welcome face to face meetings. To identify, develop and convert new opportunities into sales orders, while maintaining a thorough watching brief and follow up procedure for potential opportunities. Understand and mange typical Utility based tender processes and generate necessary responses with support from other team members. Clear ability to not only promote product but to sell additional value through software, professional services, service agreements and training. Ability to work with direct accounts or via our expanding channel. Be responsible for Westermo’s membership of any appropriate associations within the UK Energy market. Liaise with the global Director of Energy and his team and assist were possible. Requirements:Expert understanding of the UK power, transmission, distribution, off-shore wind and energy markets.Understanding of IEC 61850Good understanding of emerging communications technologies such as Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, public and private networks. Ability to work with all stakeholders to build eco-systems to deliver customer solutions.Primarily a hunter looking for new customers but with the ability to work and build the excising customer base.Clear understanding of product vs solutions selling with the ability to offer whatever the customer needs regardless of the complexity of the customers’ requirements.Ability to look beyond the product.
