DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
About the role
We are looking for a Credit Manager to join our innovative and strategic Credit Risk team. Within the role you will maximise the credit terms across our customer accounts, and work with the Credit Analyst to managing and mitigate risks. This is a service driven role, aiding our sales team with the growth of the business on a local and international level.
As the Credit Risk Manager, you will:
Proactively Work with sales and our customers to maximise credit terms, ensuring needs and expectations are addressed
Work with the Sales Director, be creative and explore new options to provide more extensive credit options
Support and work with the AP/AR Manager to mitigate risk.
Work and build relationships with our customers CFO's and FD's to evaluate risks
Develop a strong working relationship with our Commercial Director, advising on potential risk and escalate as needed.
Provide Credit availability updates and credit exposure reports on to the senior leadership team
Gather all relevant information on customers to make credit decisions – Credit Reports, Allianz Intelligence and Public domain information
Manage the credit risk data for review and evaluation
Liaise with credit insurance
Resolving any queries for both internal and external customers
Keep all data files up to date on internal drive
Work with the compliance Manager on GDPR and customer data security issues
Manage order approval, archiving program and data checks
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE |
About you
The ideal Credit Risk Manager will:
FCICM Qualified or qualified by experience
5+ years Credit Risk Management Experience
Experience working in credit control would be
advantageous
Experience working in an IT distribution or IT Reseller environment and have a good knowledge of IT Reseller customers, would be preferable.
Be service driven with a can do attitude and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships both internally and externally
Be analytical and detail orientated with strong research skills
Be a supportive team player who is organised and thrives under pressure
Be a confident and approachable person who is proactive and solution driven
