Join The Team at Birmingham City Football Club as a Youth Development Phase Coach!
As a Youth Development Phase Coach at Birmingham City FC, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing the coaching syllabus for the youth age group. Your primary responsibilities will include leading coaching sessions during both training and games, planning and evaluating coaching sessions, and ensuring each player receives the attention they need to thrive within the program.
The impact you'll make:
You'll play a vital role in nurturing young talent, leading on coaching sessions and implementing our development program for the Youth Development Phase age group.
You'll design, deliver, and evaluate engaging training sessions to equip players with the skills and knowledge to excel.
You'll be responsible for creating Individual Learning Goals (ILGs) for each player and monitoring their progress.
Your skills and experience:
We are looking for someone with a strong background in coaching and player development, preferably within a football academy setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to ongoing professional development, and a proactive approach to player welfare and safeguarding.
You possess a coaching qualification relevant to youth football development.
You have a proven track record of developing young players in a positive and supportive environment.
You're an excellent communicator with a passion for inspiring and motivating others.
You possess a strong understanding of the technical, tactical, psychological, and social aspects of the game.
You're a team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other Academy staff.
