Kinetiq offers companies and their brandsthe possibility to monitor their presence on television channels worldwide. Not only in paidadvertisements but also on other occasions such as TV shows or the news, usingwatermarking, fingerprinting, spoken word, and logo detection. We also maintain a databaseof worldwide TV commercials and TV Promos, which is part of the foundation of our services.For the expansion and maintenance of this database, we are looking for new talent in ourEindhoven, Netherlands office.About the roleIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality ofmetadata added to TV advertisements by our Metadata Specialists.You will be part of our team in Eindhoven (the Netherlands). You will be responsible foradding, verifying, and correcting metadata of worldwide TV Commercials. Every week, wecollect approximately 10,000 ads from the US, Great Britain, Germany, Canada, France andAustralia. You will work closely with our TV Commercial Harvesting team in India. Next tomaintaining the quality of our data, you will take the lead in defining and maintainingcorrective procedures for quality increase.You are available to work 40 hours per week including a maximum of 2 hours on Saturday.You reside in the Eindhoven area and possess a valid EU working permit.Responsibilities:1. Take ownership of our French and English language advertisement databases.2. Quality Assurance Processes: Develop and implement QA processes and procedures toevaluate the accuracy and consistency of metadata added to TV advertisements/TVContent. Establish clear criteria and standards for QA evaluation.3. Metadata Verification: Review metadata added to TV advertisements/TV Content toverify its accuracy and completeness. Compare metadata against source material andmetadata guidelines to identify any discrepancies or errors.4. Data Integrity Checks: Conduct thorough checks to ensure the integrity of metadata,including but not limited to brand names, product information, and categorizationtags. Identify and correct any inconsistencies or inaccuracies.5. Standard Compliance: Ensure that metadata adheres to established standards,guidelines, and best practices.6. Feedback and Training: Provide constructive feedback and guidance to MetadataSpecialists to improve the quality of their work. Offer training and support onmetadata standards, QA procedures, and best practices as needed.7. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Metadata Specialists, Writers, and other teammembers to address QA findings and implement corrective actions. Participate in teammeetings to discuss QA processes and findings.8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance QA processes, tools, andmethodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Propose and implementsolutions to streamline QA workflows and ensure consistent quality.Requirements:1. Proficiency in the French and English language. Understanding one or more of thefollowing languages is a plus: Spanish/German/Italian.2. Your working and thinking level is aligned with a Bachelor's degree.3. Previous experience in quality assurance, data validation, or metadata management ispreferred.4. Accurate, strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identifyinconsistencies and errors in metadata accurately.5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to provide clear andconstructive feedback to team members.6. Proficiency in using digital tools, Microsoft Office.7. Knowledge of advertising industry trends, television programming, and metadatastandards is desirable.8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in ateam environment.9. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksand meet deadlines.10. You are able to work from home for a certain amount of hours per week in a goodworking environment.11.
