The apprenticeship assessor will run and deliver apprenticeship programmes across the Midlands. The role will require the successful candidate to have a good understanding of the delivery of level 3 apprenticeships for the Teaching Assistant apprenticeship standards.
An LMP tutor will inspire and ensure that every person that goes through an apprenticeship programme with us will have an opportunity to thrive and succeed. Assessor's will also be responsible for mentoring learners during their work placements and ensuring they are in a safe environment where they can progress and learn.
Prepare and produce scheme of work and session plans as directed by the Quality Team.
Deliver Functional Skills qualifications as part of an apprenticeship.
Deliver Teaching Assistant Apprenticeships up to Level 3
Assess learner's performance in the workplace.
Deliver training on 1:1 or group basis - face to face or online
Deliver inclusive and high-quality courses, materials and opportunities to all learners, and actively seek to eliminate any indirect or direct discriminatory practice or behaviours.
Comply with the internal quality assurance strategy in order to ensure that assessments are delivered to a high standard.
Undertake appropriate training as identified through the observation and line management process.
Teaching Qualification at Level 3/5 or equivalent (Essential)
Qualified Teacher Status (Essential)
Experience of working within the childcare / education sector.
Experience of working with young people aged 16 plus.
At least five years' experience of working in an education, as a tutor, training, and development environment with a demonstrable track record of successful outcomes.
initial assessment, IAG, diagnostic, teaching-learning-assessment, including classroom and 1:1 delivery.
Knowledge and understanding of standards up to level 3, 4 or 5 with different relevant awarding bodies.
Knowledge of funding streams and funding requirements for the delivery of Apprenticeships, Traineeships, and other skills programmes.
A strong understanding of functional skills, specifically legacy English, and Math's.
