You will be working for a reputable care provider in Sheffield. They provide different types of care across their 5+ Care Homes. Providing a wide range of support to their residents, they offer –
Residential Care
Nursing Care
Respite Care
Specialist Dementia Care
You will be part of an exciting Turnaround Project with this Nursing Home.
You will be responsible for the commercial and financial performance of the home including occupancy levels and operating profit whilst ensuring regulatory compliance and good quality standards.
They are currently supporting 80+ elderly and young adults with general nursing needs, Mental Health needs, Physical Disabilities and Dementia Care.
Your responsibilities will involve, but will not be limited to –
Establishing a robust care quality framework within the Home involves several key components:
Prioritising the creation and regular updating of high-quality care plans for all residents.
Expanding the Home’s capacity to accommodate more residents.
Ensuring comprehensive training for all staff members to enhance their skills and competencies.
Adhering to the standards set by regulatory bodies like the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Local Authority.
Maintaining top-notch facilities and upholding health and safety standards.
Investing in staff engagement, development, and upskilling initiatives.
Cultivating a positive team culture that fosters collaboration and mutual support.
Emphasising excellent communication with residents, their families, friends, and other stakeholders.
Leading by example to ensure strict adherence to medication and care protocols.
Proper documentation of care interventions in residents’ care plans.
Promoting a culture of empowerment among residents, enabling them to maximise their living experience within the Home
