Job DescriptionTrusts & Foundations Fundraiser £35,500 FTE pa.Part time, 20 hours pwWe are excited to advertise for a new Trusts& Foundations Fundraiser role in our expanding Fundraising team at Watford Mencap. You will identify new trust and foundation funding opportunities and write applications to secure grants according to Watford Mencap’s business plan.We are seeking a creative and competent bid writer, with a proven track record of generating significant income through strong trust and foundation applications. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to engage with people at all levels, from service users to funders.You will identify, develop and maintain a list of supportive trusts, foundations and other grant-making bodies, implementing a rolling programme of applications in order to achieve the annual budget. Building and maintaining positive internal and external relationships to maximise income and provide excellent donor care.In return you will be provided with an excellent induction and on-the-job support to help develop your talents so that you can make a difference to people with learning disabilities. A hybrid working pattern of part office and part home based will be considered after your induction period. The role is part time.
