TRO Officer (Temporary Traffic Orders)

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Network Management Team, developers, and contractors to facilitate projects.
  • Produce Permanent and Temporary Traffic Orders/Notices and assist in service area development.
  • Handle the processing and provision of Temporary Traffic Restriction Orders/Notices as per legislation.
  • Assist in the legal provision of public highway events, ensuring legal compliance and correct order placement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend site meetings, agree on Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs), and produce traffic orders and notices for special events.
  • Install street notices on-site.
  • Work in collaboration with the Senior Engineer.
  • Work on-site for part of the week and remotely for the remainder.
  • Write and prepare traffic orders remotely.
  • Must be familiar with Mayrise or One.Network software.
  • Contribute to the digitisation of TTROs and TROs in partnership with One Network.
Job Requirements:
  • Significant experience in writing traffic orders.
  • Understanding of Permanent and Temporary Traffic Orders/Notices.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic management legislation and order delivery.
  • Excellent organisational skills for managing a busy workload.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in facilitating projects with developers and contractors.
