The role holder is expected to act as part of the wider control function and key provider of management information on the Group's treasury instruments (swaps and associated collateral/repos/reverse repos/RMBS/gilts) and provide balance sheet assurance via analytical review, reconciliation, and explanation.Your responsibilities will include...Design and management of a new Middle Office, designing new processes and taking on existing processes from other departments.Stakeholder liaison and relationship management to ensure a smooth transition to the new structure.Development and ownership of the derivatives and collateral reporting pack.Weekly/monthly/year-end reporting of the Group's derivatives and associated collateral positions to support financial and regulatory reporting.Monitoring and reporting the Group's portfolio of investment securities (repos, reverse repos, RMBS, gilts etc).Act as the key point of contact for the balance sheet substantiation process for these instruments, including analytical review and reconciliation to counterparty, with investigation and explanation of differences as required.In return for your commitmentWe offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £80,000 - £90,000 and a competitive benefits package including:Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 25%30 days annual leave plus bank holidaysContributory pension (8% employer 5% employee)Life Assurance (4x salary) plus Group Income ProtectionAccess to Private Medical Insurance and Medical Cash PlanMaternity & Adoption Leave - Occupational Maternity/Adoption Pay provided at 100% of salary for the first 26 weeks.Paternity Leave - 8 weeks of paid leave to be taken within 12 months of birth or adoption.Additional benefits such as Hybrid working, Cycle Purchase scheme, Technology Purchase scheme, Season Ticket Loan, Holiday purchase / sell schemes, Employee Perk Portals, Payroll giving and Save as you Earn scheme.Could you be the one?We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:Previous experience in a Treasury Reporting/Middle Office or related management role is essential.Previous experience of working in a financial services organisation or otherwise highly regulated entity is essentialPrevious experience of interacting across departments and multiple stakeholders is essentialPrevious experience of working with derivatives and other financial instruments is essentialStrong experience of Treasury Front Office / Middle Office / Back Office structure and division of responsibilities is essentialAbility to build effective working relationships quickly and convey technically complex topics in a clear manner is essentialWe also believe that your career and how you progress is as unique as your individual personality.
