We are excited to be on the lookout for a newTreasury Officer to join our fantastic Finance team.
This is an agile, home-working role with occasional visits to our central Leeds offices, around once each month.
In this role you’ll be pivotal in helping to deliver treasury services to the Yorkshire Housing Group, including managing liquidity, cash flow, covenant and regulatory compliance.

What will you be doing?In this role you’ll monitor the Group’s cash balances to ensure balances are sufficient to support our ongoing operations and maximise interest receivable on deposit balances. You’ll also ensure that funds are transferred on time. Each month you will reconcile all Treasury accounts, including bank, deposit, loan and interest accounts to the finance system, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.You will also calculate and post monthly accruals, prepayments and adjustments to all Treasury accounts.You’ll own and maintain the reconciliation of the charging and security status of all properties across the Group and manage all loan and security valuations.You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our fantastic colleagues across all areas of Yorkshire Housing to get an insight in to where we are spending our money, including improving our homes and building new ones.There will be opportunities to develop in the role and once you’re settled in, there will be a chance to study for your finance qualifications.Already feel this might be the role for you? Experience of working in Finance
Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of accounting and reconciliations
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly and simply
