Treasury Manager

Job DescriptionTax & Treasury Recruitment have been engaged by a FTSE20 client to recruit a Treasury Manager for their team based in Buckinghamshire. Our client has enjoyed significant growth over the past 10 years and is on a trajectory to becoming a FTSE100 company within the next 2 to 4 years. As a result, we are looking for an experienced treasury professional to join the business to (following a bit of horizon planning), build a fit for purpose Treasury function for the business they are becoming. You will be responsible for:- Setting and reviewing treasury strategy, processes, policies and controls in collaboration with the Group Finance Controller and CFO- Managing day to day cash on hand and on deposit, ensuring compliance with the Treasury Policy- Managing bank mandates so that access to bank accounts is restricted appropriately and efficiently- Leading the mitigation of foreign exchange risk through various means including natural hedging and financial instruments- Improving cash flow forecasting ad reporting for tactical and strategic decision making- Managing relationships with relevant institutions- Working alongside Accounts Payable and Credit Control functions to understand treasury requirements and being involved in the approval process for payments- Exploring more complex tools to assist in the management of risk and return- Enhance controls and documentation around payment authorisations - Understanding the requirements of the business in the near and longer term to ensure the function is able to support the business appropriatelyAbout you:- Experience in a treasury function of a FTSE100 business.- The drive and ability to create a new business function that is understood and value add- Hands on experience of foreign exchange risk, exposure and hedging- A collaborative approach, working alongside and understanding the needs of various different teams- A good communicator and relationship builder- Confident, collaborative, proactive and professional approachFor the right candidate, this role is offering up to £84,000 plus bonus, plus package Tax & Treasury Recruitment - Experts in Tax and Treasury Recruitment!
