We have created a new centralised role replacing the existing treasury committee with a single role covering overall responsibility for the Group’s treasury strategy, policies and procedures including reporting to the executive committee, audit committee and/or Board.What will you be doing? Governance/regulation/compliance annual Board report and oversee treasury policies management and developmentgovernance is in place for the segregation of corporate and non-corporate funds and where required, for non-corporate funds, ensure safeguarding is in place.covenants where required (banking facilities or defined benefit pensions)subsidiary funding is adequate, particularly with regulatory capital requirementsMaintain and develop relationships withbanks, being the primary operational contactof the defined benefit pension schemefinance colleagues to ensure treasury activities and corporate activities are aligned to the group’s strategic objectives.into the overall plan process setting ambitious targets as owner of interest income, interest costs, banking fees and related payment processing costs.investment options for cash balances balancing return against riskmanagement bank & other treasury related service providersOperational activities includemanagement across the group (including drawdowns / settlement of group facilities and the Prepayment trust)monitor and update bank mandates and delegated authorities.and maintenance of guarantees and Standby Letters of Creditof appropriate administration of all bank accounts, including opening & closure of accounts, new signers and maintaining related records (mandates)with Finance systems team to ensure appropriate management of on-line banking portals including appropriate allocation of user’s entitlements.payments, SCFs and other treasury activities where required.What would we like from you?finance or treasury and cash management qualifications requiredexperience of treasury an advantageto evidence managing relationships (with banks or pension trustees) an advantageto evidence the establishment and maintenance of a strong a control environmentto prioritise competing demands, manage delivery and solve problems in creative and practical wayscommunication skills: ability to argue persuasively and influence othersintegrity, honesty, and reliabilityWhat can we do for you?This position offers a mix of remote-based working and onsite working in our head office in Welwyn Garden City.In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a range of benefits, including:purchase scheme, with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.gym (free) and nationwide corporate rate gym membership.benefits portal offering discounts on shopping and holidays.company pension scheme.and Development.medical insurance and life assurance.benefits available at a discounted rate.At PayPoint, we're committed to creating an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive and feel a sense of belonging.
