By being creative, practical, and personal, we know we can always find the right solution for our customers.Job DescriptionLAB InvestmentExecute LAB investments in line with mandateWorking with the Head of Treasury Markets to propose credit lines for a range of investment types including covered bonds and RMBS;Maintain monthly, quarterly and annual monitoring of specific investments and also markets/geographies;Maintain and enhance investment control frameworkFX and IRSEnsure accurate execution of FX and IRS within agreed mandatesMaintain records of swaps and spot trades, provide ALM team with data requiredContinuous improvement of execution process including control environmentRepoWork with Head of Treasury Markets to execute Repo and build relationshipsStructured & Wholesale Term FundingSupport wholesale term funding programmes, projects and initiatives which includes Bank of England SMF facilities but also bilateral structured funding;Counterparty RiskMonitor overall exposure to counterparties and look for ways to mitigate risk;On-board and monitor new Treasury CounterpartiesDevelop the Banks Counterparty PolicyGeneralDevelop Treasury's day to day processes, controls and limit adherence;Support the development of the Treasury Management System (Quantum);Train and instruct junior team membersKeep up to date with latest regulatory changes (Liquidity, Capital, EMIR etc.)QualificationsEducation / QualificationsGood university degree; or relevant apprenticeshipRelevant professional qualification eg Cert BALM or ACTExperienceExperience in Financial Services with c.2 in a Bank TreasuryTreasury dealing in a Bank environment including IRS and FXExperience of bank Treasury processes and systems including working with a TMS.Further experience within a related area beneficial (e.g. ILAAP/Securitisations)Technical / Specialist Knowledge & SkillsTechnicalComputer literate (good knowledge of MS Office suite - Excel, Word, Power-Point);Knowledge of Treasury Management SystemsBloomberg knowledgePersonal SkillsAccuracy and attention to detail;Proactive approach, enthusiastic "can do" attitude;Resilience and ability to work under pressure;Adaptable and flexible;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Ability to work as part of a team;Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously;Professional, well presented;Establishes effective working relationships at all levels;ValuesWorking in partnership to achieve goals;Demonstrating excellence, openness and transparency;Adopting the values and behaviours that exemplify the corporate culture;CommitmentUndertake appropriate activities to maintain competence for the roleAble to work extended hours on occasions when requiredAble to commute reliably to office baseAdditional InformationYour Wellbeing - We take your health and well-being very seriously by providing a range of benefits to give you and your family peace of mind.
