Job DescriptionAs Treasury Assistant, you will join our expanding Finance team to support the business through an exciting period of growth. You will work closely with the Head of Treasury to support the financing of ongoing growth of the business, and successful integrations of acquisitions, whilst monitoring cash and forecasting. You will manage bank accounts and complete other administrative tasks as required, playing a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations within the treasury functions. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintaining records of bank accounts across the group and assisting with updating bank mandates and bank portal user access.Assisting with cash forecasting and modelling, including scenario planning and stress testing.Regularly testing and reporting on compliance, debt facility covenants, and undertakings.Integrating acquired businesses into central treasury processes.Assisting with financial modelling of acquisition cash flows.Working closely with finance managers across all areas of the business as a key contact for cash and banking matters and supporting regular updates on forecasting.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (desirable, not essential).Professional qualification in Accountancy or Treasury (desirable, not essential).Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Strong communication skills both written and verbal, to communicate with stakeholders.Please refer to our job description to review the responsibilities and person specifications in more detail.Benefits30 days holiday plus public holidaysWellbeing dayBirthday holidayVolunteering dayPrivate medical insurance, 24/7 digital GP and health adviceEmployee assistance programme providing support for your mental and physical healthGroup pension schemeLife assurance schemeEyecare vouchersFamily leaveHybrid workingReferral schemeAbout ProgenyWe create, enhance, and preserve wealth.
