TFA believes that it is the right of disabled people to participate, without barriers, in all areas of community life. They believe that a more accessible tourism, travel, and leisure industry can contribute significantly to the quality of community life. To monitor and report conflicts of interest, where these may occur, between the charity’s objectives and activities and the Treasurer’s business or personal affairs, and where appropriate to withdraw from specific discussions and decisions where such a conflict may arise.
Commitment Required of The Treasurer:
Participation in 9 monthly video meetings (c.1 hour each) with fellow Trustees – involving reading of papers, participation in video meetings, and meeting follow-up.
Participation in 3 face to face meetings (up to 3 hours each, one of which will be the charity’s Annual General Meeting) with fellow Trustees – involving the reading of papers, preparation of the report on the charity’s current financial status and performance, travel to and from face to face meeting, participation in face to face meeting and meeting follow up.
