Treasurer - Southampton City Scouts (22nd)The Treasurer will support the Chair of the Executive Committee to ensure the smooth functioning of the Scout Group.We are looking for a volunteer with accounts and/or financial experience to support the running of a scouts group in Southampton SO15. Predominately working from home in your own time with the availability to attend approx. 3-6 meetings a year with the committee.You will be part of a team of four trustees on an Executive Committee and be involved in setting up bank accounts, managing and monitoring finances of the group and producing various reports including the annual statement of accounts.You will be involved in approx. 3-6 meetings a year including the AGM and help the group establish itself and grow.There will be some essential and Treasurer training to learn about the organisations procedures and guidelines in addition to GDPR training and undertaking a DBS check.If you would like to make a difference to the young people in your community and want to know more please get in touch.This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.More Opportunities from Hampshire ScoutsEllingham and Ringwood Agricultural Society
