Transportation Project Manager/Engineer

We currently have a range of projects within Full Business Case stage of development that we wish to progress towards the construction stage. Our client, a leading company in the HTP sector, is seeking a Transport PM/Engineer to join their team. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering Transforming City Fund projects, primarily with a focus on sustainable travel. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the development and progress of these projects.

• Lead and manage the development of projects from the Full Business Case stage to the construction phase
• Provide oversight and support during the construction phase, working closely with the on-site delivery team
• Ensure timely completion of projects, monitoring progress, and managing risk
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including contractors and consultants, to ensure project requirements are met
• Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable travel initiatives

• Significant experience in transportation project management/engineering
• Understanding of Full Business Case development and construction phases
• Knowledge of sustainable travel initiatives
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Qualification in a relevant field is desirable
