Transport Supervisor

Location: Lancaster
Salary: c£35,000.00

Shift pattern - 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts

Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who has a successful background in transport at a supervising level with a good understanding of legal compliance, drivers' hours and WTD's plus knowledge of transport management systems and vehicle telematics.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting in the smooth transition of a new contract
Supervising the driving team including briefing and debriefing
Complying to WTD and drivers hours legislation
Liaising directly with customers and stakeholders in a professional manner
Collate management information and KPIs
Ensure site compliance, health, safety and security is maintained.
Experience:

Previous supervisory experience within transport
Transport Manager CPC preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of Transport management systems and vehicle telematics
Good organisation skills
Excellent communication skills
