The Role
A vacancy have arisen for a Transport Supervisor to work for Bolton Council’s Integrated Transport Team.
Responsible for the day-to-day transportation of pupils with special educational needs to school and adults to Day Care provision, and to supervise the department’s own vehicle fleet and staff, ensuring that they operate effectively, safely and lawfully
.
The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team in a busy office. Be prepared to work with both children and adults who have various needs
with dignity, respect
and able to communicate with parents/carers in a friendly and understanding manner. Must be flexible and motivated and able to follow instructions and deal with emergencies in a calm manner.
