Job Description As Transport Supervisor you will be reporting into the Transport Manager and can expect to have the following responsibilities:Lead and manage a logistics team to ensure efficient operationsDevelop and implement logistics strategies and processesCoordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operationsManage and optimise logistics resourcesEnsure compliance with industry standards and company policiesMonitor and report on logistics performanceIdentify and implement improvements in logistics processesManage relationships with logistics partners and suppliers The Successful Applicant A successful Transport Supervisor should have:Have good knowledge of the Logistics or Transport industryExperience in a leadership role within the Logistics sectorKnowledge of logistics processes and best practicesStrong team management and leadership skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills What's on Offer On offer for the successful Transport Supervisor:Basic Salary - £30k-£34kBonus schemePension schemeLife assuranceHealth Cash PlansHours of Work:Monday to Friday6am-3pm11am-6pm1 in 3 weekends on call
