Transport Planner

Are you a Transport Planner looking for an award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy who can offer you support, progression and flexible working?
They work for both the private and public sector ranging from private house builders to local authorities to National Highways and the Department for Transport.
What you need to succeed:
A relevant Degree
Experience in contributing to i) transport studies, strategies, appraisals, Option Assessment Reports and Business Case development for the public sector and/or ii) Transport Assessments and Travel Plans and providing design advice to developers and architects
Up to date knowledge on latest transport policies and legislations, design standards (DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN 01/20) and/or planning processes applicable to the UK.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools, excel spreadsheets,
Analytical experience such as transport data analysis and presentation and/or transportation software including TRICS and junction modelling programmes (ARCADY, PICADY and LinSig);
Ability to produce and contribute to technical project and non-technical public reports to a high technical standard.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to communicate confidently with others.
