They operate throughout the UK assisting our diverse clientele with a range of interesting projects. They are currently looking for a graduate Transport Planner to join their team.Responsibilities: Preparation of detailed Transport Assessments and Transport StatementsPreparation of Travel Plans as well as Travel Plan CoordinationPreparation and presentation of technical data and drawingsUndertaking junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIGLiaison with clients, contractors and local / national authorities as requiredAttendance at meetings / public consultation events as requiredManagement of small / medium sized projectsProvide support and guidance to junior staff within the teamTaking ownership of other traffic / transport related tasks as required by your Team LeaderCandidate Profile: Education/ Experience:Degree in applicable subject; Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering2-5 years’ experience of UK Transport Planning standards and processesTechnical Skills:Advanced use of Microsoft Office software packagesAdvanced understanding of spreadsheets / presentation of technical outputs e.g. traffic flowsUse of AutoCADProficient use of ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG Access Talent Group are currently working with a Multi-disciplinary Civil Engineering consultancy.
