Ignition Driver Recruitment is looking for a Transport Planner in Bellshill to work for our client, who are one of the UK's best-known parcel distribution and delivery companies. 

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience in a similar type of position. We are looking for someone who: 

1. Is highly organised 
2. Has impeccable timekeeping
3. Has the ability to think on their feet 
4. Can work either alone, or in a team environment

Working hours for Transport Planners: 

• 22:00 - 06:00 (20% uplift on Nights) 
  • Must be flexible as you may be asked to cover different shifts

What do we need from you to be a Transport Planner?

• Excellent telephone & customer service skills 
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team as well as being organised 
• Basic computer knowledge is essential
• Flexible approach to work and hours of work
• Superb attention to detail

What will you be doing as a Transport Planner? 

• Dealing with Drivers within a transport office 
• Debriefing Drivers at the end of their shifts
• Handling & distributing vehicle keys 
• Paperwork to include: 
  
  • Data entry
  • Filing 
  • Communications (telephone calls & emails)
• General office administration duties
