They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Transport Planner to join the team and contribute to the efficient and effective coordination of fleet operations.

(Transport Planner) - Position Overview

As a Transport Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the successful management of our bulk tipping articulated HGV fleet. You will be responsible for organising and coordinating the transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, optimising routes, and maximising operational efficiency. Your ability to analyse data, make informed decisions, and effectively communicate with various stakeholders will be crucial in this role. You will collaborate closely with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of daily transport activities.

(Transport Planner) - Position Requirements

• Previous experience as a Transport Planner or in a Transport role, preferably within the bulk tipping articulated HGV transportation industry.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation logistics, including route planning, load optimisation, and compliance with legal and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with relevant software and technologies used in transport planning, such as route optimisation software and fleet management systems.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and resolve issues in a timely manner.

(Transport Planner) - Position Remuneration

• Salary: �27,000.00 - �32,000.00
• 10-hour shifts with 1 hour lunch break
• One Saturday every 3 weeks worked (3.5-hour morning shift)
• 28 days annual leave per annum including bank holidays.
