Experienced Transport Planner (Haulage)
Shift:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
On-call:
Required every 4th week.
Salary:
£28,000 per annumAre you an experienced Transport Planner looking for a new opportunity in the haulage industry? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Transport Planner. Must Have Haulage Experience Key Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate transportation activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods- Communicate effectively with drivers, suppliers, and customers to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise- Monitor and track shipments to ensure they reach their destination on time- Assist in the optimization of routes to maximise efficiency and minimise costs- Handle administrative tasks related to transportation planningRequirements: - Proven experience as a Transport Planner in the haulage industry- Strong organisational and time management skills- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities- Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment-Excellent geographical knowledgeIf you are passionate about logistics, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
