The target’s business focuses on high-value add specialty ingredients for the Food Manufacturers segment, with a portfolio that incorporates a range of products including sweet particulates, chocolate confections, baked inclusions, variegates and fruit purées.This transformative deal created a global leader in the semi-finished ingredients industry, with 22 manufacturing facilities in Europe, US and Vietnam and a combined €1 billion of revenues (#####)Role Responsibilities1.Responsible for complying with Health and Safety policies and trained procedures.2.Communicating with various hauliers and 3rd party Warehouses
accurately to ensure orders are picked and collected on time to meet the customers delivery dates.3.To ensure clear professional communication with the customer care function with reference to order status and transportation plans.4.To ensure all UK and European outbound transportation is ordered in line with the business hauliers.5.To create via SAP all despatch documentation for the warehouse in line with any customer / business requirements.6.Support and manage Export documentation processes with the Irca central Export team.7.To cover general administrative duties, reception calls, signing for parcels and welcoming visitors etc.8.Accurately manage business KPI weekly updates for OTIF, Customer Complaints, Transport Specials and Customer Returns.9.Manage Customer complaints for Logistics and Warehousing. Including Investigations, System updates and Customer Responses.10.To help support the Supply Chain team with Customer Rejections and Customer order processing requirement amendments.11.To support the Warehouse department to fulfil customer sample requests booking DPD collections when the Warehouse.12.To request haulier quotations for potential new business for Finance.13.To assist and carry out any supply chain related ad-hoc tasks at the business’s request.14.To be flexible between sites and gain knowledge to be able to cover the Supply Chain Coordinators role in Orton.15.To be able to help cover some of the ad-hoc Supply Chain tasks when the Material Call Off or site Planners are on holiday.16.Attending various site meetings. combine information - Microsoft packages, Business SystemsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to process a wide variety of information with a high level of
accuracy and detailKnowledge and experience in the food manufacturing industryExperience working in SAP
