Overview Due to growth and a new contract we are looking for a Transport Operations Manager to join our team. Working for our growing IKEA contract at our brand new, state of the art site in Dartford. Customer service will be at the heart of this role,creating a better everyday!
Shifts are 4 on 4 off 12 hours shift pattern (Shifts fall over a period from 04:00 to 20:00)
Salary Up to £42,000 DOE

How will you contribute?
Oversee management of HR processes RTWs, formal Investigations, disciplinaries etc.
Oversee management of driver performance to achieve high standards of customer service, ensuring a high level of NPS / Happy Customer score is achieved
Investigate driver and porter incident reports.
Ensure a high level of PDA compliance is achieved.
Ensure all product returns procedures are actioned.
Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to
Ensure stock debriefed correctly at the end of day
Help to Manage driver hours in line with working time legislation.
Undertake investigations as and when required
Actively promote and manage good health and safety practices within the working environment.
What will you bring? Experience within a similar role and within home delivery would be a preference
PC literate with good knowledge of Excel
Ability to lead a team effectively
Able to delegate tasks effectively
Self-motivated to work as an individual when required
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Experience of chairing disciplinary hearings
Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards.
