**Transport Operations Manager Required** to join a leading warehousing and distribution firm at their site based near Worthing.

Our client is able to offer express shipping and palletised distribution services to their customers across the UK. Having been founded in the early 1990's they offer a complete and tailored service to their customers, some of which includes storage, groupage, international movement, transport consultation, parcel and courier distribution and same day delivery.

Transport Manager Position Overview

Our client operates a fleet of 12 vehicles ranging from Artics, Rigids and Vans and 50,000sqft of warehouse storage which is split across 3 locations in the Worthing area.

• Achievement of the daily/weekly/monthly KPI's through effective guidance and coaching of direct reports.
• Drive performance through a balanced approach of recognition and managing performance against agreed KPI's.
• Oversight of transport and warehouse operations
• Hands on when required
• Ensure full departmental compliance through regular monitoring of Health and Safety, Sustainability and Fleet standards,
• investigation activity to understand root cause and make sure that corrective and preventative action

Transport Manager Position Requirements

• Transport Managers CPC (International)
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar position
• Previous experience overseeing both Transport and Warehouse functions
• Ambitious with the drive to succeed
