Hours 7am – 4pm Monday to Friday and one Saturday in three. Are you looking for a new role where you can use your skills with own fleet and team management? If so, my client is seeking a driven Transport Manager to ensure the safe delivery of delicious B2B customer orders. The CompanyA well-established, progressive, and expanding organisation who are the first point of contact as a supplier for high-end foodservice establishments across the UK. With a nearly completed state-of-the-art facility in West London, they are adding experienced people to the team to deliver the finest products to their customers. The RoleThe new Transport Manager will lead and manage a fleet of 40 which is a mixture of 3.5-ton and 7-ton dual-temperature vehicles. Delivering across London & nationally.Your duties will include.•
Manage your team of route planners, schedulers and administrators.•
Fleet / Safety / Legislation / Internal Compliance •
Manage the planning and organising of the schedules and operational work of the transport function to meet all service-level agreements.•
Monitor Tachograph compliance and reporting.•
Ensure Department of Transport regulations are followed. Your Skills & ExperienceTo be considered as the new Transport Manager you will need.•
CPC Holder•
Knowledge of FTA vision•
Previous experience as a Transport Manager- from Food•
Able to lead motivate and develop your team.•
Experience in Promoting safe working practices, attaining, and sustaining high standards of H&S, hygiene and security.
