Ideal Recruit are currently looking for a Transport Coordinator on behalf of our client in the Barnsley area. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively drive 3PL Transport Sales.                                                      
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.                                          
• Ensure all relationships deliver margin expectation.                                                  
• Use tools at hand to grow topline sales.                                                          
• Return loads/Haulage Exchange and alike.                                                     
• Support the Transport Manager to utilise fully all vehicles.                                                              
• Support the Transport Manager in management of transport office - covering holidays and alike.                                               
• Maintain 3PL sales tracker with relevant information to show profitability to wider audience.                                               
• Support wider business re own work versus 3rd party work, using external haulier as and when required.                        

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a transport related role (desirable)
• Excellent administration skills
• Experience in a customer facing role/customer service experience
