Transport Clerk

Staffline is recruiting for a Transport Clerk, working for one of our most prestigious client's based in Daventry.
The rate of pay is £13.53 Per Hour.
Overtime rate applicable after 46 hours
Weekend premium 33%
Night premium 20%
This is an ongoing role and we have shifts available on Days and Nights
Days 7AM - 7PM
Nights 7PM - 7AM
You must be able to work any 4 days over 7.

Your Time at Work
The candidate will be working in a dynamic transport environment situated in a transport office, coordinating the administration activities that will accompany the movements of products across the United Kingdom.
The right candidates will have the potential for career progression.
Main accountabilities to include but not be limited to:
- Plan, organise and control activities related to transportation
- Following Business Code of Conduct and Data Protection Law, always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Completing a full handover and sharing all relevant information
- Answering Telephones via Distribution Direct to answer any store queries and input them onto the online log
- Completing on time all reports and sending to the relevant people
- Giving Drivers at the start of their journey their pre-brief
- Investigating any route or time discrepancies on de-brief
Our Perfect Worker
The ideal candidate will have the following skill base:
- Computer based systems, Microlise vehicle tracking, Outlook, Excel, Company specific programmes
- Previous office work is essential
- Telephone communications
- One to one communication with Drivers
- Good command of English language is a necessity
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
